So she caught you in the act? Well, hopefully not LITERALLY in the act. But you get the point. Sucks to be you! I’m only teasing. I know how it feels. It has happened to me twice. I’m not proud of that. But I do feel your pain. The first time I got caught, I completely denied it. Unfortunately, she had all the proof she needed. I had forgotten to delete my browser history and Instant Message chat logs. Oops! So I had to fess up eventually.
That led to a messy divorce in which I got the short end of the stick. I learned my lesson. No more denying it when I get busted. No more calling her out for accusing me of cheating. Once you’re caught, you’re caught. You can’t spin it. If she has proof, there’s no excuse possible that will convince her you aren’t a cheating S.O.B. So now you must plan how you’re going to minimize the damage. The first attempt should be to save your marriage.
It can’t hurt to try and talk things out before hiring a divorce attorney
If you really want to save your marriage, don’t go down without a fight. Your wife is going to be very angry with you, understandably. Let her vent. She’ll probably chew your ass out, cry, call you names, etc. Just sit there and take it. Then apologize. Being apologetic is the key. Explain to her that you hated cheating on her but just weren’t happy.
The key here is to get her to be sympathetic with you. Tell her how unhappy you’ve been with your sex life. Don’t make her feel bad about being horrible in bed. That will anger her. Tell her that you love her but need the physical attention as well. If that doesn’t work…
Beg for forgiveness
No guy likes to beg for anything. There’s nothing that makes a man feel more worthless than having to beg. But you might have to do it if she doesn’t accept your apology. Swallow your pride and beg for her forgiveness. Tell her how much you love her and don’t want to lose her. Fake crying if you have to. Just do whatever it takes to keep the marriage intact so you don’t have to file divorce. If you get caught cheating, you’ll likely end up getting screwed in the divorce. Of course, if begging doesn’t work… HIRE AN ATTORNEY AND FILE DIVORCE!
